Cassie Darmody

Cassie has over 24 years of experience dedicated to working in the field of early childhood education. Her passion grew out of an experience volunteering with children for a class project in high school; since then, she knew she was destined to work in the early education field. Her goals are to bring a new level of professionalism and respect to the field, and to raise the bar in parents expectations of what a quality childcare facility and its' teaching team truly are. She believes that early exposure to a quality learning environment and age appropriate social settings set a child up for future success. Her extensive work history has been a personal journey to learn everything she can about the field in order to someday open a high quality child care center, like Chicago Children's House. Cassie holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Minnesota, in Child Psychology.  Additionally, she has a professional Director's Credential from the nationally recognized organization NAEYC, The National Association for the Education of Young Children. She has been recognized by Chicago local Nursing Consultants for pioneering a training program for early childhood teachers. She is working on completing her Master's in Early Childhood Education.

Cassie is particularly proud to say that her daughter graduated from CCH and her son currently attends.
